River Ure at Nunwick

Sand Martin

Ringing has taken place in the Ripon area now for many years with the exception of 2001and 2002. The colony at Ripon Parks was used from 1996 to 2003 with a total of 1278 birds ringed. In 2004 the colony on the River Ure at Nunwick was first visited. This has proved a good move with 1321 birds ringed in the four years to 2007.
